Founded by Nidia Hernández, a licensed childcare provider and mother of three, our program is built on over 20 years of parenting experience and a deep commitment to early childhood development. Nidia is currently pursuing her Initial Certificate and continues to train and study English to provide the best care possible.
With a background in family life and 15 years in the workforce, she brings real-world experience, dedication, and heart to every part of the day. At Mundo de Juguetes, we treat every child like family—helping them grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Our History
Mundo de Juguetes LLC was born from the vision of creating a bilingual daycare where children could feel at home while growing through meaningful learning. Founded by passionate caregivers with years of experience in early childhood education, our center opened in Federal Way, WA with a simple mission: to support working families by offering high-quality, loving, and structured care. Since day one, we’ve proudly helped children build confidence, friendships, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning—one smile at a time.

Hi! My name is Nidia Hernández. I recently received my childcare license and am currently working toward my Initial Certificate while also attending English classes and training to continue improving the quality of care I provide.
I have three children—ages 21, 18, and 4—and over two decades of experience raising them in a loving and supportive home. My husband and I have been happily married for 22 years.
Although I am just beginning my journey in childcare professionally, I bring with me 15 years of experience working in the cleaning industry and a strong commitment to learning and growth. I’m excited to be part of Mundo de Juguetes and to help create a safe, nurturing space for every child.
